Prepaid Cards due to the presence of the microchip are safer and more secure from fraud and cloning. As a rule, when you make a purchase, you will be asked to enter your PIN code to complete transactions for amounts over 40 €. Your online transactions are more secure with Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by VISA (VBV) security models. You are always protected from an extra level of security thanks to a password received via SMS that will be required at the time of purchase from online stores.

You can personalize your Visa & Mastercard PIN in all bank ATMs. Changing the PIN code for these cards is free of charge. In case you loose your PIN code, its reprint can be request at the branch for which the bank will apply fee according to the card pricelists.

• With Mastercard from Credins Bank make payments through Contactless technology, through which you can make payments without swipe card or inserting the chip. For amounts up to 20 EUR, you do not need to enter your PIN code. Some tips for prepayment cards:
